Houston Person, renown saxophonist
and Guest of Honor at the 2008 Pecos Valley Jazz & Art Festival
in Roswell, New Mexico, is the subject of Artist Douglas Weaver’s
newest oil painting and Limited Edition Giclees on canvas. Inspired
by Person’s jazz performance, Weaver created a realistic representation
of the musician with an abstract background which suggests the abstract music for which Person is
famous.
The three Limited Editions of the Giclees are numbered
and signed by the Artist and come with Certificates of Authenticity.
