In his extensive career, he has found the ways to make every painting an adventure...a treasure hunt for authenticity through dedicated research...experiments that add dimension and intense realism to his representational painting...an inspired curiosity for life and the varied cultures that populate this planet.

First he draws his subjects in black and white to determine contrasts and shadows and depth of perception. Then, for the final presentation, he chooses his colors in oils, gouache or translucent watercolor, knowing he has first satisfied what are primary issues with him.
